You people in NM and AZ can feel free to shove it, this is frikken HOT where I come from!

I set a temperature/humidity probe on the pavement in the sun outside today around noon.

Of course, the pavement is warmer and drier than the air (100º/50%) but DANG. This is day 10 or 11 in a 100º+ hot spell. I'm expecting Al Gore to show up any minute now. . . .

I feel you man. It's "88" down here but with the humidity it feels like 95+. Just went to check the fluid levels on the car and was already sweating by the time I went inside lol.

I guess I have an advantage over some folk round here. I came up in Houston, where summer temperatures AND humidity can be the same almost-100 number.

fun computer trivia: hold down the alt key on your PC keyboard and hit 1 6 7 on the 10-key number pad and you get º

I had a thermometer in my weld stall until yesterday. welding on teeth adaptors to a d10 size bucket with welds stacked to show 8 passes showing was unbearably hot.

I had on my air hood, my air line cracked open and zip tied to my belt to blow up my back, and finally 3 fans blowing hot air out of my stall and it was still 115º!!!

the thermometer met a untimely death due to a 15lb. sledgehammer.

Pansy. Last summer we saw several 125+ degree days here in Vegas. I'm talking real temperature, measured at my house, not the airport.

Im glad summer heat only lasts for a couple months in Greenup, Ky. May not sound too hot, but when the tem is 105 with 100% humidity. My balls are dragging behind me crying.
