Are they good to have when changing/rotating wheels or not?

 

Whaaaa!???! You have lug studs on your car, they hold the wheel.

 

Those are designed for German cars that dont use lug nuts, they use a stud bolt which leaves the hub barren. No need on most cars and wont even fit.
