When car companies debut new platforms and cars, they sometimes tout increases in rigidity (110% stiffer!). How much stiffer can platforms already be? If companies still have such huge increases in structural rigidity, how loose were previous models to begin with? It makes it sound as though they were cooked spaghetti. I assume it deals with diminishing returns.
