I noticed almost everyone has their setups with stiffer shock setting and spring rates in the front. Wouldnt our cars handle better and induce a little oversteer with stiffer rear settings, spring rates?

It's relative. So running stiffer springs in front than rear is going to be required because of the heavier weight in the front. So even if your spring stiffness was relatively higher in the rear, the spring rate will still be lower.

Easier than springs: rear anti-sway bar diameter increase.

Its a good and valid point. Pretty much what 187sks said; the higher spring rate is just a necessity to maintain a desired ride height. If there were more weight in the back from factory, the springs at the back would be stiffer.

Just one of the many reasons our cars understeer so much

Just pull the hand brake! What you all b*tching about, Also if you make the front less stiff, you will look like a Honda Kid bouncing down the road cause you are sure to blow your struts! lol Not that i care, Just get coilover, you can f*ck with the preset and spring rates all you want!

The stiffer rear sway bar will plant the front tires better (I know, sort of counter-intuitive but it works) and you can end up with some oversteer.

Combined with coilovers you might end up like me lol:

I'd just like to take a moment to point out that your exhaust sounds fantastic.
