Default It really sucks not having air tools for this reason

It was time to change my front brakes this weekend. Got the front passenger side wheel off, the 2 bolts out that hold the caliper on, and the old pads off within 15 minutes. Then it was time to remove the part that holds the rotor on. The 2 bolts were on so damn tight, I nearly had a hemorage trying to loosen them. They werent budging one bit, even with tons of wd-40 and liquid wrench sprayed on them. So after calling it a few names which I wont repeat on here, I sadly had to raise the white flag and call defeat and put everything back together. I didnt even bother with the drivers side. I ended up putting the old pads back on too since theres no reason to use new pads. The whole purpose of me doing the brakes is because my rotors are warped some. So now I have to either find someone who has air tools that can loosen the damn bolts, or I have to pay some shop to put the car up on the lift, and loosen the bolts themselves. Sucks pretty bad.

Those 2 screws are not really needed, blown them off with a grinder or drill them out. They are there to keep the rotor in place on the assembly line.

No Im talking about the 2 large bolts on the caliper anchor that hold the calipers and rotors in place.

You should be able to get them loose using a breaker bar.

buy a small torch to go with the breaker bar!,and heat her up!..Usually heat and a few hammertaps will loosen any bolt
