Default Lightweight rims

Will the lightweight rims create more wheel spin or hop during launches? I know its always better to have light rims but Im wondering if there are any negatives to it also.

I would think u would actually have less wheel hop with a lighter rim. It would allow the suspension to do its job better, rather than deal with the extra weight of a larger than stock rim.
