Yaya Polyurethane Bushing Kit Fitment Problems
Right now im trying to press the front control arm bushing in it goes in but its way to tight the tube will not go through without damaging the bushing. im thinking about drilling a little out of the middle of the bushing. I dont know why i have to though. Has anyone else had any problems with these bushings? Or any experance with these bushings. Any help is needed. Im in a bit of a rush. Thank you
you sure the right bushing is in the right place? the bushing tube should fit snug, but allow for rotation in the bushing(and should be greased). the only way to accurately fix this problem if the tube is to big is to turn it down some on a lathe. drilling the bushing will be highly inaccurate and you really want a nice even contact patch with bushings/bushing tubes.
if this is a yaya kit i thought they were of high quality. double-check that you have the correct bushing/bushing tube combination.

the tubes are the same length except 4 are shorter there are only 3 diffrent size bushings and two are way too small do you thing i recived the wrong ones? But when i pressed the bushings in the whole closes down way to much.

then you either got the wrong kit or yaya bushing kits are not as high quality as everyone thinks. the bushing should be a pretty good press fit in the control arm, and then the sleeve for the bolt should should be snug but allow for rotation when greased. it should also be slightly longer than the control arm tub with the two bushings pressed in.
my terminology above is also wrong. the "bushing tub" is the part of the control arm the bushing sits inside. the piece that goes inside the bushing is usually referred to as the sleeve.
maybe clean out the "bushing tubes" on the control arm before pressing in the bushings? use a small wire wheel, maybe there is leftover grime in there.

well Its deffinatly too big there is no grime, and the tube that goes in the bushing is the right length. Im going to contact shark racing and see whats going on its to big and i dont have a lathe handy. Its 1/8 inch to big.

1. too much press needed on the bushing shrinking the inner hole down too much OR
2. the bushing sleeve way to big?
keep in mind you want somewhere between 1/16 to 1/8 thickness on the sleeve.
