My rear brake pad has been squeling for sometime now and I decided to try and fix it while I'm in the
city where I have limited shop tools to work with. I removed the caliper and the old pads now I'm trying
to compress the brake piston back into the caliper so that I can fit the new brake pads in. My manual
said to try and use a C clamp to compress it but I ended up bending a brand new C clamp!! Does anyone
have any tips on this or is there a DIY on changing brake pads?!! I searched for one but didn't find anything.

Please help me out! My car is sitting up on my jack in my buddies backyard!! urgh!

Well lets hope that you haven't messed up the caliper to much but the rear calipers twist back in. the fronts compress but the rears turn. they sell a tool its looks like a cube and fits on the notches on the caliper.

Your manual says to use that C clamp for the front, but a special tool for the back.

I've got all of the Tiburon manuals, they all say that. The rear ones need screwed in, it's discussed several places here.

Here is the tool that you put on your ratchet and twist them back in.

To much risk of ripping the caliper seals.
