I've decided to get some new wheels. Any suggestions would be awesome, I don't know if I want 17's or 16's but I'll probably end up going with 16's for weight and cost(I don't want them to weigh more than the stockers). I think the gunmetal w/ polished lip look or gold would be best for my black tib. Here's what I've been looking at:
1. Kyowa KR-316 gunmetal with polished lip

16x7 or 17x7.5
Weight???( I'll probably call them tomorrow)
Don't know much about this company.
2.Tenzo DC-6 gunmetal with polished lip

16x7 16.3 pounds
17x7 17.8 pounds
3. Rota Attack gold

17x7.5 +45 offset (don't really know how that factors in...)
weight=16.5 pounds
Also what are some ideal tire sizes for 16s and 17s.

I voted for the first one, I think that color is best for a black Tib. Bronze could be ok, but only if it's really your style. I'm not a huge fan of bronze though.
And don't get black with a polished lip, wheels aren't meant to be multi-colored! drillsergeant.gif

well, i dont like machined lips, but i would vote for the second ones.. not a huge fan of the gold rims, or the chunky center style.. although im not a fan of tenzos because for the weight they tend to be pretty up there in price.
heres some similar to those styles that i like.
obviously not the fake CF ones..

^^^ those are the 17lb rims at 17"

^^ just an interesting rim that might look good.
FYI, kyowa makes a good rim.. HKC has had a set for like 4 years and really likes em.. i about bought some, but i got a good deal on my konigs. his 17s were 17 lbs which is pretty good.

Everyone knows I LOVE Rotas. I have 16's, and once you lower the car, they fill the wheel wells perfectly. They are very light weight but still durable. I would actually get them in bronze. I love bronze rims on black cars. I had painted mine genmetal with a polished lip, but am considering painting them bronze now.
i have tenzo-r mean 6's right now. and i kinda like the ones you found better. i dont know about the black though, but if it is gunmetal it will look sick. just the picture looks more black. and definitely 17's. they fill the wheel well.
i LOVE gold rims, but rota's are knockoff rims. and i wouldnt recommend buying knockoffs to anyone. they are cheap and if you want some baller rims you should save and buy baller rims. not halfway save and buy knockoffs of baller rims.

^^^yea I like them them too just don't know if it would go with my car
I'm leaning more towards the kyowa kr316's right now, and I like the last one socks posted with the black and red lip but like I said I don't know how that would look with my car just being black with no red anywhere.
Also, are wheel locks necessary? I've never seen or heard people's rims getting stolen.

Yea I've seen them on red cars and that's the only way I'd go with a red car, but i don't know.
I called kyowa, they said the kr316 in 17's are about 19pounds and the 16's are 17 pounds.
I asked about the kr206 that socks posted also they said in 17's it's about 17 pounds so that's not bad. KR206:

So, I'm thinking either 17's in those^^^or 16's in the kr316s...
