On the list of cars it fits it says up 96. Would these fit on the 2001 tiburon?

the 1997 and 1998 have Captive rotors
the 1999 forward have non-captive. You simply specify which model year when ordering.

No...they do not have an application for the tiburon.

If you want a brake upgrade, the Shark Racing Big Brake kit is hard to beat for $535! Jumbo cross drilled and slotted rotors, and jumbo 2 piston calipers!

I know the stock rotors are a little thin...but if you wanted...you could even do your own cross drilled and slotted rotors. Just take them to a brake shop and I'm sure they can do it for you. Otherwise..like Random said...you're best bet are the SR units. I'm not 100% sure if the SR brake pads are dustless or not, but if you're looking for those kind of brake pads, then you can't beat EBC Green Stuff. wink.gif

My buddy got a set of the EBC green stuff brake pads. And there was something wrong with them. He said there was a spot that to big or miscut and b/c of that his brakes wouldn't release. Has anyone else had this problem with there EBC green stuff pads?

I had heard that the early EBC pads were too thick, and thus rubed constanly and caused the rotors to heat up and warp (plus major brake fade).

Do not know WHICH EBC pads they were...(Red, Yellow or green)

That was almost a year ago...so I'm assuming they've fixed it now, but...who knows.!
