Okay, new rims are here and I didn't consider the fact that I need some new valve stems.
I'm wanting to go TPMS, and if I have to wait a few weeks before I can put the rims on, I'll wait.
Anyone give me some advise on an aftermarket TMPS system that displays in the car? Know of any major outlets that sell one?
If not, how bout a place where I can pick up some stainless or chrome valve stems?

crutchfields 279 bucks
ebay 159.00
ebay again, but i like the display the best out of the three
the only two out of like twenty i looked at in the past week, I've been looking also. the control modules on the rest of the other i looked at were really bulky and looked like something that should be in a RV not a tib.
the only thing on these i don't like is all the weight on the valve stem. probably isnt alot but i like the idea of the pressure sensonrs that are wrapped around the rim better.
ask moo, he has some for sale at one time, see how he liked his.

I haven't installed them yet. I'm not installing them until 03/15 when I get my new tires. When I replaced my fronts with those Yokohama's I was complaining about I didn't have them on me because I got a flat and needed new front tires right away so the TPMS didn't go in at that time. I just saw that you called so I'll call you back.

And you would want these why?
I work in the industry and all I see is extra repair bills due to faulty or damaged sensors.
these issues drastically outwiegh the benefits.

Tire jockeys are constantly yanking valve stems out without checking for TPMS's. So your 30min. tire change has turned into 4hrs while they try to find a replacement.
CEL's pop up due to faulty sensors which cost you on average $100.
All to tell you your tire is going flat......ya thanks.
