It can be done put I personally don't think it would look good and no matter how much you try they will come out looking cheap but hey thats just my personal opinion.

i talked to a guy that does chrome plating, and gave him the idea of plating the stock rims,He told me it would be cheaper to buy new chrome 15's,he said between the labor of initially striping the rims, then dipping, its not worth it. wink.gif

what about getting a pearl coat put on your rims. i think this would look sick on white rims, or maybe even silver. i read in a magazine that some guy put an orange pearl on some white rims. would be cool as hell in the sun. IMO

For some reason everyone belives that powder coating is the way to go but it's not!! It is the cheap way to go but will only lead to problems. If these powdercoated wheels come in contact with a foreign object, the powdercoating will come off in chunks. What you have to do is find someone who deals with wheel refinishing where they will blast off the current finish and redo the finishing process with your choice of paint then the layers of clearcoat.
