Default Suspension squeak... HELP!!!

I just put on Apex lowering springs on my 2001 Tib and now I'm hearing a squeak in while driving (coming from the front driver side)... actually it sounds like something is rubbing (metal on metal) somewhere on the wheel when it is spinning. I hear it more when I make a slow right turn than any other time. Please help! I don't want my brand new tibby falling apart on me already.

Keep Hooties fat Ho's outta the passenger seat. You know them wide bitches belong in the back!

Seriously...it sounds like the spring has "rotated" out of it's perch. Check that first....

LOL!
Thanks Random, I'll check that this weekend when I get time. One more question though... would it still make that sound even if the suspension isn't being compressed? remember it only does it if I'm moving. Turning the wheel while sitting still it doesn't do it.

It would take a suspension "wiggle" to make it squeek. Simply turning the wheel left and right would not do it.

Oh ok, if it's not that then could it possibly be that a bottom mounting bolt on the strut could be loose? Either way I'll check it out this weekend and let ya know what I find. Thanks for the help.

I found what was making my suspension squeak... Stupid me forgot to reattach the brake line to the strut and it was rubbing on the wheel whenever I turned the wheel to the right. Sorry, to take your time guys but it's fixed now. Thanks!

Glad you got it fixed. If someone has the problem in the future...we've got one more thing to try to eliminate the problem.
