Well, since I finished up everything with the calendars, i decided it was time to start back on my own stuff.

I took the old ones out,

Springs and strut bar removed from car

Engine bay with springs and strut bar out

spring compressor with rear spring

Then I put the new ones in.

Eibach Pro

Eibach pro and KYB GR-2 layout

KYB GR-2 and Eibach pro. I drove to firestone to make them make good on their lifetime alignment warranty becasue I have an adjustable camber kit on the car. But they had closed up shop for the night at 7PM. So i drove back home. I noticed that my ride is bumpier on small rocks/bumps in the road, but it is much nicer on slopes and dips, as well as takeoff and deceleration. It also has a much tighter feel for the steering and the car does not lean as much.

Overall, i like them alot.

The Eibach PRO-KIT has a 1.2" drop for our cars. I'll get some pix durring the daytme tomorrow. The rear wheel gets swallowed by the wheel well and the front has about 1" of clearance.

welcome to the club adam! I wis i had some b+g's on my car but their drop is too low. Eibachs are nice, a little hard but that's better for bodyroll. Get sway bars man, its a MUST. I don't wanna hear else period. Asap!!!!

so do you need the eibach alignment kit with gr-2s? I should think not. Gr2 are very good.get some finished pics.

^^ I was looking at a sway bar kit that EIBACH recommended. Do you have that sway bar kit?

It's a generic off-the-shelf from a small alignment shop I found. They recommended it and I said OK. It's basically some eccentric bolts. They are basically a replacement bolt that has a lobe on them. you set the camber by rotating the top bolt on the hub/strut joint and it causes the camber to go in or out. It cost me $150.

The lobe just bearly clears the hole which the bolt normally slides through. Once it's in, a washer with a little tab takes up the space which the normal bolt would and you can loosten the bolt up, then rotate it and it adjusts the camber.

sorry dtn, on my phone. No full writeup. But yes I have it and its AWESOME. No install problems whatsoever and poly bushings. You can take turns, ramps, corners without any bodyroll. Car sticks to the road similar to radio controlled.
