Wheel offset? will +38 work?
I'm looking for some bad-ass rims for my tibby, I found one that should work, but i'm unsure about the offset. It says it has a +38 offset and 4x100 4x114.3 lug pattern. Will these work? ta

Decker, you have a 2000, so that will work fine. 4x114.3 and offsets between +35 and +44 will work (depending on wheel width).
If you had a 97 or 98, those wheels would NOT work as the captive rotors do not work with 8 hole wheels. They only work with 4 hole 4x114.3 wheels that can have holes machined in for the 4 extra bolt heads.

Also, some of the four hole wheels (like my MAS Oberons) already have slots in the back where those stupid captive rotor bolts can reside.
When I called www.discounttiredirect.com to order they knew all about the captive rotor problem and had a list of which ones would fit. I can't speak for other companies, though.

Whaps, good point Curtas...some wheels have the notches already in them for those bolts. I think Speed Racer said his RH CP35's had the notches as well.
