caliper, not caliber.
It depends on what the offset of the wheel is.
Normally with larger wheels (16" and larger) its NOT the problem. You usually only have caliper fitment problems when running smaller than stock wheels.

+48? God, you'd be rubbing rim/tire on the strut tower! If not that, you would at LEAST be rubbing the inner fenderwell liner on turns.
+42's is a little better (6mm better), but you will probably rub the inside corner of the tire against the inner fender well liner on slow full lock turns.
also, running 18x7.5's What rubber are you going to run? If you run 30 or 35 series rubber, you will increase the overall outter diameter/circumfrence of the wheel/tire combo and cause more rubbing issues, than if you went with a 25 series tire. 25 series tires are hard to find, and give a really, really, really, really harsh ride. Large potholes will also probably damage/crack the rim. Not to mention throw off your speedo.

Im running 215/35/18 +42 offset 5Zigen GT8 with Toyo Proxy ZF4. Lowered 2" with H&R race and koni yellows. I rolled the fender but the outside blocks of my tires are all chunked off. I really suggest 17's. But 18's are pimp.....
