Well, I'm not going all out on this DIY, cause there's really not much to explain and it's so easy to do. HOWEVER, I didn't need the damn press!!! You can do this buy hand even though KSPEC and SFR says you do. SFR charges another $41 for the mounts already installed. You can save that amount by pressing them in yourself. It's up to you if you want to do this work though.
Tools:
Hammer
Chissel small and large (I used a railroad spike and a screwdriver lol)
1. Take out the stock rubber insert, or as much as you can.
2. Start chisseling out the inner ring of the motormount from the external black ring. The internal ring is MUCH more fragile than the external ring, so it will give way and start caving inwards. Once you work your way around enough times, or actualy just cave in one side enough, the entire ring will fall out!
3. Lube up the poly mount with the grease SFR supplies. Then just press it in by hand. Yea, by hand. lol You need to work the lip inside the mount a little, but then it just snaps right in place. And you're done!
Wow, I can't believe I paid some shop $35 to do the first one when I could have just done this.
