Where is the brake freeplay adjustment? I can't find anything on the pedal, and it looks like it goes straight into the master cylindar.
I checked webtech and there's no instructions. It just says that you should have 1MM of free play at the top of the stroke. I've got about 1/2MM of free play. Bearly any if at all. What is the corrective action?
?

1/2mm??
DTN, to my knowledge there is no way to adjust that.. if you want want you could change the retainning pin and the plastic bushing and the brake pedal itself. check them out.

Ok, i have the korean service book in frount of me now..and there are 3 points that must be checked.
point A. is at the top where the pin and the pedal meet there should as follows "0.5~1.0mm" of play
point B. is from the base of the pedal the "3~8mm" as you said that is before there is any restiance on the pedal.
point C. is with for of 50kg or 110Lb of pressure on applyed on the pedal the clearance between the pedal and the floor should be 45.1mm
if these are out of the service limits the brake booster AKA the big black round thing behind the master brake cylinder is no good..
if you want to up grade then use the gk one is bigger

Ok, another question... Is that with the car on or off? I checked my freeplay with the car off.
If you had that shop manual digitized and PDF'd, me love you long time.
The reason is that it actually specifies that you should turn the car on after checking the free play. It does not say anything about if the car should be on while checking the free play. Webtech is sooo incoherent sometimes. I wish I had my own shop manual.
