Default Non-captive rotor Question.

non captive REAR rotors.

Ok, i ordered new rotors for my car. then cam ein.. but there isn't a hole for the little screw that goes in the rotor.

Is this ok, or did they send me the wrong rotors?

Those screws are unnecessary. You have the correct rotors.

Rotors and new brake pads are correctly installed. Drives like a dream, no more vibration or loud metal-to-metal sounds. (severely warped rotor)

100% serious, the back pad on my rear left rotor 9the warped one).. there was no pad material left AT ALL. It was just the metal plate.

All rear dics are non captive. It is only fronts that are captive. Only 97-98 Tibbies and 96-98 Elantras have captive rotors. (and accents up to 98 or 99)

That makes sense. I made a note of what a captive rotor looks liek when I was admiring Todd's Totally stripped to nothing Tiburon.
