So two days ago at work I start feeling real crappy real quick. I feel weak, headache, chills. Not good at all, it's only like 5 and I work til 10:30. So I call my girlfriend and she brings me up some tylenol. That stuff kicked in instantly and I felt 1000x better. Next day I wake up for school and feel like sh!t, so I have my dad call me in. I feel better later in the day, so again, I go to work from 4:30-10:30. I don't feel to great throughout the day, but it's not that bad... At about 8:00, My legs feel like they can barely support me, my head feels like it's in a vice, I'm getting chills like crazy and it's 70 outside. I go to my girlfriends house after work, sure enough, I have a 104.5 degree fever. Sh!t... So I take some Ibuprophen, eat a couple popsicles, cold wash rag on forehead whatever. I get home and I take an ice cold bath for an hour or so, then my fever drops to about 102. So I take an amoxacillin pill and hit the pillow. I wake up this morning, I then had a 106 degree fever..... That's not good at all. So I hop in the tub again and run another ice bath. My dad calls my doctor at 5 in the morning and tells him what's happening, Dr. Stamat says it's a high fever, but being that I'm 18, it's not life threatening or anything, and I basically found out I have strep throat and a realllllly high fever. It's now 6:15PM today, and my fever finally broke, I'm between 98.6-100.0, and I feel a lot better. The only thing is, I have a horrible cough... Today is a sh!tty day... I can't even really go outside to work on the tib... All I did was pull off my heat shield, got the burnt oil and whatever off of it, and sprayed it black. I also took my 302 block, and put it on my new engine stand to rebuild this week. So at least I'll have some time to do that I guess...

Mate, with a girlfriend as hot as yours is, you have no right to complain about anything... EVER!!

gah! don't remind me! 106 is crazy... i heard it's bad to take cold baths and eat popsicles man that just worsens it. you'd have to put a wet towel on your forehead and that's it. then take antibiotics. drink a lot of gatorade to flush your system out.

Thanks for the words y'all, my fever broke and I feel good now. My Dr. said I have bad bronchitis, so I now have an inhaler to use 3x a day, and some heavy duty antibiotics to kill my disease... I think it's strep?
