Watchin the 3rd Fast and the Furious right now, and I have to say it kind of pissed me off. There's a line in it that goes: ""What you think, I'm gonna put you in a Hyundai?" when the main character is being given a car. Yeah. Just wanted to say it pissed me off. smile.gif

 

I wouldn't get too offended. It's a movie that celebrates the extreme gayness of ricers and their rides. And it glorifies street racing, which makes even more mature thumbsdown.gif.

Hopefully, all the gay little ricer kiddies who believe everything in that movie will get themselves killed when they try to drift their parents' Civics/Corollas/Sentras/etc.

 

I saw it in the theatre...and EVERYONE knows my car. So I'm sitting there, I hear that line followed by:

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....RICK!"

From 10 rows back.....

 

I rented it and my Dad laughed at me when that part came up.

LMAO at that part. My dad and I laughed at that because of course I have the tib and he has the evo. Everyone's opinion on cars that has backing already knows the expertise of the script and the actors in FF, so dont worry bout it.

i was actually quite happy with it. i forget but one of our members on here had a brother who was a double in the movie or something and he told us he would try to get us a part, and i think that was our part.

i think it's great representation for us and definitely makes us look good. i'd rather like to see the faces when people see a Hyundai beating them. same with world rally championship, except MSD had a poor budget.

The main character's, actors age must be at least near 25-28 and he is playing a high school teen.........WTF.

Also, how many kids got to build bad-ass viper equalling Buicks in high school.........load of sh|t. Dodge Viper > that Sh*t box Buick...........any day of the week.
I hired thinking it was action movie with good car chases and races..........What I got was Caddyshack-esque comedy of street racing.
