Did you expect the "respect" to be handed to you? You've got to earn it by "building a respectful car".

That's as far as I'm gonna go with this.

Ehh, Sean is a good guy, and he took 2nd in the Custom Class I believe? He was doing just fine with his car, and it looked great.

Well sucks to see you go but it also sucks that you gave up so early..but glad your happy with your new car.

You def. have to earn respect..its difficult with tibs but I believe in the end its worth it. I mean whats a spectator going to remember more..a 300Z doing 9 flat or a tibby doing 9 flat..we know the answer lol. It sucks that tibs arent respected and people have their heads up their ass but the only thing that can be done is to keep going..keep pushing the tibs out there.

I ain't giving my tibby away for nothing..I dont care how much people hate it. laugh.gif

Yah it sucks you felt you had to ditch the tib because some people dont believe in them, but to each his own and. Its your car so enjoy it.

Personally i felt 100x better making my car fast instead of buying one that was already "reasonably" quick.

I had an opportunity to buy a del slow that was supercharged, rims, kit, wing, etc; but when i drove it, it just didnt feel right. Not to mention the del sol was slow as dirt. I figured id start from scratch.

Much more satisfied, im sure Jon is in the same boat.

Oh and considering how you reacted when you saw tibs dont get much respect remember the "respect" for the SRT-4 is slightly more than a neon.

Its all good though! a former tib owner is better than never being a tib owner, keep hanging round, and when you get a chance on the SRT-4 forums let them know about the rising following of your former car.
