GAH!!! Does anyone else have this problem?! Whenever I fill for a full tank, I DONT top off, and when the pump stops, I pull it out, then gas starts coming up from the tank. It spills everywhere.

Anyone?

alight, i work at a gas station and help peeps out.

i always top off once because sometime they pop cause there is too much pressure.

always wait a couple seconds before taking it out after you pump. IT seems to work for me.

never had the problem. Sorry guys, but one of the benefits of living in NJ. I do not have to smell like gas all day after filling up the car. Somebody pumps it for me.. and no, I rarely if ever see gas stains on the sides of my cars.

Just as an fyi, dont let the gas sit on your paint afterwards, gas will eat paint.

after you're done filling it, pull it out slowly, then stick it back in to open the little hole (so the gas that overflowed can go back in)..

if anyone uses part of that statement to quote in their sig i will b*tch slap you.....

I've never smelt like gas all day after pumping my own gas.

Ever.

Of course, I don't spray myself down either.

I get the leaks now and then, but my paint still looks perfect there.
