hey guys, tryin to replace my oil seal, seems to be my transmission problem, and i cant get the damned ball joint off to lower the front A-arm.. do i need the 'special tool' or is there a easier way to do this, or another way to get the driveshaft out easily so i can pop in the new oil seal? or do i get to wrestle with the car a whole lot more to get something to end up working?

help..

u dont have to remove it to take off the axe, just unbolt the hub from the strut, and rotate the hub away. then pop out the axle, its that easy. yoor just making yourself do more work then needed.

that looks fine to me.

if it was rounded a bit, that means it would have spun in the trans, and i was just pointing out, thats not something you wouldnt notice, thats something that would make u pull over, and crawl on the ground in the rain to check it out...

xxxmonoxide your funny

He wanted a pic of a driveshaft that is in good working order so he can compare to his, those are selinas driveshafts for her Auto/manual swap, not Socks' questionable driveshaft.

but i agree, i doubt this is the problem
