I was wondering if I could get an aftermarket spring that still has the stock ride height because there is NO WAY I can go any lower.

The reason is I just got my tib out of the shop...with the Veilside kit...it very low in the front ...I have the KYB-Gr2 shock already but not installed...will that raise the car any?

Thanks
GBS

No it won't.

Why do you just stay with the stock springs?

The GR2's will stiffen up your ride if that's what your looking for. Also buying new stock OEM springs from a part sourse might help as well depending how many miles on your springs

new gas shocks will raise your ride about 0.5" but that's only for some time, they will settle down and you'll have same height.

All aftermarket springs are shorter.

how long will it take for new OEM springs / and GR2 shocks to settle, the car has 66k on the old springs and shocks.

I know this is stupid but do they make anything to (lift) the car...? haha

Yes, somebody here in Ukraine lift they cars... but they do it to increase cargo weight.
They use something (like spacers) under springs to lift them

it's dangerous, because you lift center mass of the vehicle.

don't do it.

What wheel's do you drive?

Get 205/50 R16, they are 1" bigger in diameter than stock (you will lift your car 0.5")

It's not dangerous. They are little rubber blocks that fit inbetween the coils. You jack up the car and squeeze them in place. They cost like $5 for a pair. They'll give you like 1/2"-1" lift. I've done it for the rear when racing.

^^yeah, for some reason my old 75 cutlass has those. Not sure if they are stock or someone put them in along the way though. I'm pretty sure someone put them in because back in the day that was popular.

do it wherever it needs a little lift. i would guess msotly the front for that kit. did you go with the true veilside? you could do air bags otherwise. i believe those can raise it a little higher than stock. and then at shows it can be on the ground. literally
