I have been searching for what to go with spring wise, and xxxmonoxidechild has a set of intrax. He bought them from somebody off here and didnt come in the right box so I dont know the part number... THere is a difference in the part numbers from an rd1 and a rd2... I want to get the same drop as him and wonder if there is a difference.

I have an RD2 and i bought intrax springs off of a member here with a RD1. They work fine. GREAT drop. Low, yet high enough that my 17"s NEVER rub. If you get them, you will like them.

LMAO!!!!! lmao.gif haha.gif

But then I found this
1997-1999 Hyundai Tiburon 40.1.011 -1.5 -1.5
2000-2002 Hyundai Tiburon 40.1.014 -1.5 -1.5

I guess that doesnt matter though if people got them to work.....

RD1 and RD2 have the SAME, not similar, but the same suspension, and that is EXACTLY the same.

You will find however different part numbers for RD1 and RD2 and that should be only because companies (Hyundai USA included) want to keep track of the parts they stock and sell, and they do that tracking by model, so even when it's "the same" spring, for accounting and/or marketing purpuses the company could want to know if they sold x% of srpings for Rd1s and y% for RD2...
