Just Changed My Bearings..now What?
Just changed my bearings to get rid of the grinding sound at high speeds and the squeeking noise.
It worked....sorta.
Now my left wheel well smeels like burning and my pads smoke everytime I drive. There's a different squeeling at low speeds and the grinding persists at high speeds.
Is my caliper dead? That would suck if it's the caliper which my experience tells me it is.
How much does a new one cost? Help!!

You could have your bearing set wrong or when you take off your caliper and put it back on it sortof realigns your barke pads so they rub differantly. The bearings Hyundai uses are WEIRD they have to be set just so so or they wont seat right.
Well, just when I was about to kill the mechanic who pressed it on, I took the wheel off the swap the CAI for the stock box and when I put the wheel back on, the noise is gone and it doesn't sound like it's grinding anymore.
Strange huh? I'm gonna keep an eye on it. I only hope that whatever I did, fixed it. This is the first time it's behaving normally.

Update. Turns out the Caliper was busted and rusted.
Ate my poor Greenstuff pads up in 4 months. Just got the caliper changed and put new pads on there.
Now there is no more noise and no more rolling resistance. Car drove smooth for the first time in months.
The only thing worrying me is the grinding noise it makes when turn the steering wheel full right. Any speculations on what that could be?
