Well where do I start. I think I'm, due to go off and express/share my sentiments towards the incopetent shop owner ans his so called mechanics, that I had to hand my precious to.

It was a about september or so, It was a beautiful tuesday evening and I had to step out to go make a deposit. Ussually I would take wifeys car for quick trips, but it was such a pretty night I decided to drive the tib. So I go and start heading back, get up on the express way and I step on it, rrrrreeeeevvvv, pppsssttttt, shift, rrrrreeeeeevvvvvv, ppppsssssttt, shift and all of the sudden the engine start rattling. I let off, it goes away, I mash the gas pedal again, it rattles like crazy, I'm like OH shit. SO the car is now down, I know of one shop that would prob do the work and one that I know I want to do the work. I go to that shop and the guy is strait up with me and says, look bro, I can't right now, i'm swamped and don't wanna have the car here cause I don't know when i'll get to it. So i said fine. I would have loved to have taken it apart and rebuilt it myself but i am not able to do that. so I look around for another week or two and none of the shops conviced me. I found a guy who'm alot of people vouched for and is know with all the honda guys and mazda guys. he says sure i'll call you when I have some room. so icalled him back two days later, He says sure let me get a parts list so I could give you a quote, I said sure. four days later I call him, oh by hte way this was around the time that we got hit by 2 hurricames with in a one month period, so that added to my mess. so everything was hectic some people didn't have power for like 3 weeks. When I finally heard from him he told me that he would get back to me ( by now it's been almost two months). So I was like shit, imma have to go to this guy, I mean he did the work on yuris car so I was like f*** it. He says sure bring it in. now this was like begining november or so. I tell him, I think I spun a bearing so I wanna rebuilt the engine, forged rods, low comp pistons, etc, etc........ the whole nine. Turns out that the thrust bearing spun off and wore down the block and and the crank. So I asked him if he knew where to buy an engine, I had a guy to buy it from but it was gonna take two days, he found a guy and bought the engine , it turns out that he bought an automatic engine and the flywheel doesn't fit the crank and the engine is already built up. So now he sent the fly wheel to get machined so it will fit the crank. and here I am going on month 5 and not freeking car. I know i'd probably catch a lot of lip from you guys and that's ok. It's unf***ing believeable. I want to go off on the son of a b**** but he still has the car and honestly I could give a rats ass if he does anyhting to the car becasuse honestly i'm expecting that shit to break on me anyways.

There are like 8 ppl ready to reply but I'll try to beat them.

It's gonna take a while to do the job you want him to do. Especially with all the little "issues" he's been having.

Have a little more patience IMO, and wait and see. Have you talked to him since????

For what you want done to it, thats really not an unrealistic timeframe considering he can't work on your car all the time. Considering the hurricanes and all he probably had backed up work already.

Everything will be allright bro. Consider it the cost of being unique.
