Hey!

Like the title says, my gripe is with those ebay sellers that sell one thing & send another.

I was stoked when my new steering wheel arrived at my door this morning. Sure, the packaging was a little rough (i.e.: Steering wheel in it's original box, a big white sheet of paper with my name & addy covering the front of it & mountains of clear packing tape wrapped all around it) but the box seemed in good knick still so I was happy.

It wasn't untill I was back inside & I'd cut half of the tape off that I realised that it wasn't the steering wheel I'd ordered, which was this one... Instead, they sent me this one!

Anyway, I've shot an email off to them & am waiting to hear what they have to say. I know they'll exchange it but now it means I'm going to have to wait ages for it to get there & back again sad.gif

P.S.: For what it's worth, the one I did get looks pretty well made; stitching is good, leather looks quality & the tiller feels overall nice & solid fing02.gif

^ Yeah, I'll definitely be doing that. I never considered keeping this one but the fact that the quality is good bodes well for the other one when I get it.

OT: To add salt to injury, I just got off the phone with "Tempe Tyres" as I was wanting to order my rims... Sure enough they're sold out of the ones I want until late February to early March & as far as I know they're the only place that sells them mad.gif

I actually like the steering wheel that you have recieved better than the momo look-alike because of the very reason that it isn't a momo tongue.gif

I also like the design much better than the fake momo that looks identicall to many other steering wheels.

Mate, the one they sent me is also a MOMO knockoff...

"MOMO"

"FAUX-MO"

Anyway, I prefer the look of the one I'd ordered as i think I would maybe tire of this one one day... The "Race" design is more timeless, I reckon.
