Well, I'll tell you.

I've seen probably 50 modified RD's in my day, if not more. Out of all of the ones I've been in or near, there's no comparison for GOOD sound, to the Apexi exhaust.

No comparison.

The Moteria sounds perty damned good too, but a bit ricier.

- Custom 2.5 inch over axle piping.
- Streak Glass pack Resonator.
- Apexi N1 style muffler.

 

rd1tib. yours isnt that bad. idle is sweet. just at high rpm gets a lil ricey. mine was horrible. it buzzed so much with the header. i dont have a clip. but if arcticchill sees this he could chim in. hes heard it. it was bad. but now with the silencer its a little better. honestly my car is more motor now than exhaust. ty aem and rside smile.gif

 

Thanks, The idle sounds soo nice in person. The total of everything was a lil under 200, so its worth the money. Glasspacked resonators are worth the money for custom exhaust systems, they lower the loud sound and do not restrict much airflow.

Mine is the worst. It has a bent head flange, warped wastgate flange, broken hotside flange bolts, etc. So it's leaking out of every joint.
Hopefully the new manifold setup will go on this weekend.

I'll try to post up a soundclip of my Apexi later tonight. Redzman was very impressed with the sound of it.

 

I orginally had a custom exhaust with some muffler from Korea and I cringed every time I gave it gas. Sounded like a weedeater. Then I got a KRD and have been much happier ever since.
