So today, I was going down the road doing about 60-65, heading to class at about 1:00. I notice this red F-350 with smoke just POURING out of it. Of course I'm looking over to see what's wrong with the guy, not really paying attention to the road. There were no other cars in front of me, so I wasn't really too scared of rear ending someone. The next thing I hear is this large BUMP! I think what the heck? My CD player skips and everything. I get out about.. 2 miles down the road and notice that my center cap to my 17" Exel RH-5 Wheels is MISSING!!! And, on top of that, theres a nice little bend in the silver lip of the rim.. mad.gif This seriously ruined my day. I went back and searched all along this road, and this is like a high traffic area. I found the center cap, and wouldn't ya know, it's BUSTED. Come to find out also, that the thing I hit was this.. almost 7 inch tall like half of a log. So now I'm running around without a center cap to my wheel and a busted lip. Great.. what a start to a day. mad.gif

I feel for ya man.

I remember one time I was driving 65 on a busy highway and all of a sudden theres this big piece of a wooden board on the road and theres no way i can avoid it..so I ran over it and luckily nothing happened.

Sometimes you see pieces of tire or theres these horrendous bumps that you cant even see. Ridiculous.

yeah, coming back from school one night, definitely got to keep your eyes peeled. there was a cabinet in the road on the left lane i almost hit, on top of that, trying to avoid it i almost hit the car next to me.

i'm pretty sure that someone had to hit it later.

you need a new rim. or just get a new set of rims for an excuse.

I feel you man....

there was a period when people kept running into washing-machines, and fridges in the middle of the road, here in Israel.

It turned out to be a couple of mo-fos, that found it very amusing to place these things on poorly lit roads.

today on the way to the meet I was running, I almost ran into the remains of a propane grill in the middle of the parkway. It was between lanes as I was coming up on my exit and I was glancing over my shoulder to see if anybody was in the lane I was moving overtowards when I glanced forwards and saw this black thing about five car lengths ahead of me... I was able to swerve, but not by much. Thankfully the parts I hit (the grill part you put the food on) didn't hurt my car.
