seems a little pricey compared to the one he was talking about, but i was hoping you guys could let me know if that's what he's talking about, cuz i'd like to get one for my car.

I'm the one who wrote up the DIY. It looks like these bars may have been more popular than expected. Either that or they were not selling them. This one is a bit more expensive than the one I purchased, but it is cheaper than the auction you listed. These are exactly the same one I put in my car and I love it! Hope you find a good deal.
