so its friday night and i wanted to go ride bmx freestyle at the skatepark here in layton utah. i did nt want to drive cause i am getting a little pudgy from drinking and partying all the time so i grabbed my bike and helment and took off. a mile down the road i start crossing the road to go underneath the freeway and(i had the walk sign by the way) this a@#%#E% decides hes not going to look and hits me witth his car. i spent all night in the hospital i still cant hold my head up by mself without a neck brace and a whole lot of pain. this is the extent of the damage, the docs think i may have compressed something in my neck, i spprained all ligaments and tendons for sure in m,y neck, my right shoulder which i just had surgery on in january came out of the socket, and my ankle is sprained. all in all i got out alright but this sux.as soon as i get pics of my bike i'll post them but it is f%#&*^

 

good gods... at least you are alive. Most accidents I see with bicycle and car come out badly for the rider. Good thing you were wearing a helmet! People need to be much more careful, what if you had been some young kid?

And I do understand how you feel about the guy who got you. I try and do a couple of miles a day on my Mountain Bike.. at least once I have to dodge some idiot who just did not see me.

 

yea it sux but i am calling a lawyer on monday so i'll be getting some money to at least pay for my bike
