<span style="color:red">so yeah, i have been checking in on a house for the past week because they went away on vacation and i've been going over to feed and take care the pets and some other things, and i was driving down the road and these punks started shooting paintballs at my car and they splattered all over my driver side door, wheels and rear bumper. it was dark and i was coming back from burger king with my dinner and out of nowhere i heard all this noise and i had no clue what it was. at first i thought it was i hit something because it sounded like a crack, but then it kept happening and i had no idea what it was. i got to the house and got out and saw the mural of paint all over the side of my car. luckily it came right off with soap and water. so here i am at night with my dinner getting cold in the car, scrubbing paint off my car. i was so mad. i am over in this neighborhood as much as i'm in my own so i know that they have seen my car before. i don't get why they would do something so mean to my poor tibby. mad.gif i'm just thankful that they didn't damage anything. sad.gif </span>

 

wow that sux. hunt them those bastards down! lol j/k but good that nothing got damages

 

Eh, kids will be kids. Sucks that they did that and I probably would've beaten their arses, but I've done a little mischief like that before. tongue.gif

Yeah, luckily paint can scrub off if you can catch in time so it doesn't have time to dry. Be thankful you were shot at night when its cooler, if it was hot you might not have been able to get it all off.

...i hate people who vandalize other peoples cars in any way, shape, or form.... how can you be that disrepectful?? I've been really mad at some people but i couldn't imagine doing anything to their cars, no matter how big of a piece of junk they are!!

<span style="color:red">well, these "kids" as you call them, i believe that they are around 18 years old? we aren't talking about little kids. these are adults, or almost adults, that aren't acting as such. i know it had to be them because there is a house that is back in a little wooded area off the road and that's exactly where the shots came from. mad.gif it seems that everyone in the neighborhood knows them to be trouble makers. </span>

 

You could call the police and press harassment charges, especially if those kids are found to have paintball guns and other accessories in their homes. What they did is considered vandalism, and they can be prosecuted for it, ESPECIALLY at 18+. I say you confront them. Even if you don't want to press charges or do anytihng, calling the cops will give them a warning and make them think twice about doing it again. Plus it puts the neighbors at ease knowing they can call the cops and have the kids taken care of since they were already called out there before.

 

That's what I would've done, I would've immediately called the police. That way, if other people have complained about them, they'll patrol the neighborhood more frequently. Also, they could've been charged with assualt since they were technically shooting at you. The cops would've been there in no time. On a bright note, It's a good thing no permanent damage was done.
