my CD play is now ruined, becasue of a stupid driver. We were coming home from a car club cook out on sunday coming down the highway and we were on top of a hill about to go over, and there was a line of cars coming up the hill, and one stupid asshole in my damn lane (in a no passing zone) almost right on me i slam my brakes on, and my woman had some tea in my cup holder and it went right in the cd player where the cd go in. so now when i plug up my cd player all i hear is scratches. It don't werk now ooo i wanted to chase them down so bad, but that aint the thing to do.

did you have any sort of warranty/insurance with the deck? i'm assuming it wasn't the stock cd player otherwise it wouldn't be as big of a deal.

That sucks man. that's one of the reasons why I don't let people drink when they're in my car, I'm afraid of people spilling stuff.

Sorry about the spill... If your radio still works, they make a radio adapter you can get at wallmart for a CD player -$30.

Also, you could always try taking the fux0r out, bust out the jeweler's set, using a hair dryer on it, cleaning it with alcohol, rag, and q-tips.... might help.

Something like that happened to me. My friend was being retarded and blowing bubbles into an icee, and he got it ALL over my head unit. It just projected itself right onto it. I took the head unit out, cleaned it with this cloth you clean cd's with and some q-tips, then I used canned air to get in between the small spaces. Needless to say, it worked again.

Man, that sucks.

Does your radio works?
Try to open cd player, clean it and dry it.

yeah, canned air and alcohol is the shiznet. Make sure it's isopropyl alcohol. Ideally Denatured Isopropyl... But the stuff at the store WILL work even still as long as it's not that benz-of0ck shit or whatever they call it..... Isopropyl is good for electronics... It never hurts to use it even on the cleanest of electronics... unless it's plugged in. Allow it about 10 minutes to dry after using Isopropyl unless you get it under an IC or in a crevace... use your own best judgement, and a can of compressed air.

let us know how it pans out.
