I have been attempting to obtain and file all my legal paperwork with the state of Ohio to legally be allowed to open my shop. Having very little time between college and work I hired a company that was to obtain the paperwork for me and have it properly double checked and filed. I filled out all the information they required of me and payed their fee of 49.95. I know the state only charges $25 dollars if you file it yourself but this service was one that supposedly expidites your applications. I was told there would be a few weeks for the applications to be filed with the state. I had no problem with that and patiently waited. Well I placed this order back in the beginning of the year and have not received one peice of paperwork from the company I hired. After several and I do mean several emails and no responses I contacted them in person. I asked why I had received nothing and they told me that they could send out the paperwork again and it would probably take around another 2-4 weeks for that to happen then another 4 weeks for the paperwork to be filed. So what it comes down to is I am now out $50 bucks and still have no liscence. I have to goto the state department tommorow and fill out all new applications and start right back from the beginning. So if your considering open up your own business I would highly advise you to contact a Small Business Development Center within your state to avoid the same mistakes I have made.

Oh I would enjoy doing that however they are located in California and I am here in Ohio. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB but I will not allow this company to get away with just taking my money and walking.
