Rims rubbing
I got my new rims, they are 17 inch Konig Unknown's. I put them on but when i went to drive they were shaking really bad. I am not for sure why but i hope to have that fixed tomorrow. That is if the tire place i take them too can get it fixed. But my question for you is, is there anyway to make the rims not rub as much? I heard most people don't have problems with 17's but my rub a little when i turn real sharp and when i hit any kind of bump. So any tips to fix this problem would be very helpful. thanks guys

What year do you have. I hope that the shop realized you have a captive setup if you have a 96-99. That would suck.
I think it could be the hubcentric problem too. Where do you get the rings at anyway??

There are a number of reasons why your rims might "shake" the obvious of course is that the tyres are not properly balanced on the rims. but here are a list of other reasons.
Tyres not properly balanced
Bent Rim (especially on the front)
no hubcentric rings installed on the hubs
WRONG hubcentric rings installed
Loose Lug nuts
96 through 98 had captive rotors with large bolts on the rim mounting surface.
Wrong bolt pattern
As for your tyres hitting the fenders, You did not mention if your car was lowered or not. If it is lowered, you are going to have to learn to live with it, that is the price you pay for 17s on a lowered tib. You also did not mention what size tyres you are running. Most people will recommend a 40 series for 17s on a tib to keep the speedo correct and to stop rubbing.
Also, what is the offset of your rims? Tibs like a LOT of offset.. around 40

yup i bet ya the captive rotor is the issue, makes me laugh, when I first got my rims, they forgot to take the rear captives screws out of the rear discs, and when i left and got on the highway, man it was ridiculous, LOL, the ass end of the car was shimmying and shaking like crazy, it probably looked so funny from the outside, it was unsteerable !!!!!!
