Default Darn...

Just feel like venting a little as I had an extremely bad day. One of those days where you wake up and your like, "Damn, this day is gonna suck." I get up and stop by my Dad's shop to work on the 'Vette a little. Run into problems there. Go to school, manage to make it thorugh the day (Every day of school is bad, lol). I'm about to go to tennis, so I leave school. I'm in the left lane, and the Tib almost gets side-swiped by one of those damn student driver vehicles. Luckily I saved my ass that time... should've let them hit me so they would've had to repair the entire right side of my Tib that has a dents and scratches on it from a hit and run by a golf cart drunk driver. I go on down the road, and by the Tennis courts I hear wazaap! And I know that damn tire on my right front blew out from when that damned female ran me off the road leaving school (READ: Left turn signal, left lane, goes into right lane, right turn, with LEFT turn signal still on) and I had a small bubble in my sidewall. I expected it to last a little longer than it did. So I speed up to get to the courts before the entire thing goes flat... pull in... and WTF there is a cop behind me. "50 in a 35... your 17... going to wreck your car, can't drive... aggressive driving..." while I'm trying to explain to him that I was trying to get into the parking lot before my tire went dead flat. I talk myself out of that ticket. Call my Dad, he brings by the GSX, and I take off the tire and head over to the tire store. I then learn that a replacement stock Michelin is going to cost me $148.00. Now I'm pissed cause I've only got 13k on the stockers so they have plenty of tread and wear to go on them, yet I don't wanna pay $148 for a tire to put on a rim that has curb rash from the bright owner that owned the car before me. Common sense dictates me to keep the tire, so right now I'm riding on one of GSX's aftermarket tires that I wore down at the track... 205/55/15... until the shop can get in the Michelin. It feels like I'm driving on a rock since the tire is way too big and its worn to hell. Sigh...

End long post. LOL.

Sorry to hear about your crap-tastic day. I know my jaw dropped when I foud out how much the stock Michelin tires were too. Needless to say when I had to replace all 4 of my tires I went with something a little cheaper.
