does anyone know how to fix the ebrake sticking when i pull it? whenever i pull it even with the button in it doesnt like to come down, kinda stubborn... anyone know how to help solve this?

 

Maybe you're pulling it up too much? Or maybe the cable is too tight? I used to have the same problem with my auto, I'd pull it up and then have to put all my strength into pulling it down.

 

i thought i might be pulling to hard, but a couple of my friends also tried and they had the same problem. how do you know if its to tight? im cheap and like to learn so no shop for me smile.gif

 

Sure your not pulling it too tight? I'd check that before the cable. Reminds me of the time I took my door panel apart to look at my window motor, was puzzled, and finally realized I had the window lock on. ROFLOL.

For me, pulling it up 7 clicks holds me non-moving on a really steep hill. What I always do to make sure I dont do it is pull it up a click.. let off the brake and see if I move. If I do, I pull it again up a click. When it stops moving I pull it up one more click for good measure. I never have to go above 4-5 clicks usually.

 

Check and see that your rear caliper(s) are not seized
I've seen those happen often
