Default Stock rims, anyone done anything to them?

I was thinking about doing this to my car: (this is a photoshop edit btw)

Anyone done anything similar to this w/the stock wheels? Perhaps even polished them?

No, but I've seen it done...
I would suggest Duplicolor Wheel Paint if your doing it yourself.
Also what color are you planning on doing? I'm not a fan of the Gunmetal rims on a white car...
They always turn out really nice it seems.

How'd those small lights below the corner lights (orange) turn out?

PM nightshark. i think he has done the same thing.

i preferably like the gold. haha it's a bit girly but it's beautiful. as for the stockers, i'd probably go ahead and buy a set for that $500 price. you get brand new tires and the car will look hot. maybe 16' inchers would be neat. it would update the look of the car a lot better than painting the stock rims gunmetal.

anybody else?
