My enkeis are really beaten up from kerb rash.. nothing that can't fixed.. but I noticed that when I clobbered that kerb in Philly last month, I all but totalled one of them. Not only the lip bent up some, but the actual curve of the rim has been flattened.. it still holds air (on new tyres) and it is not out of round.. but looks ugly.

I have the RPO1 which is a light weight and subtle five spoke... it is also out of production and almost impossible to find in a 16x7 size.. so I have been looking around.

Anybody know anything about ALT wheels? this is the ALT Racing AT 200 Lite speed. I can't find specs on weight... but they go for 135 a piece and I think they look just as nice if not a little better than my abused enkeis

 

I remember looking into the Alt lites...I believe they're 16lbs...it's been a while but I think that's how much they weigh..the 15's of the same kind, weigh less then 14lbs so I think that's right

 

that is good to know.. just about the same weight as my enkeis.. And no, for anybody else trying to convince me otherwise.. this is the style of rim I like.. so with the information just provided, I will probably purchase them.. going to get five though so I can do a little project I wanted to in the first place.
