Today has been a horrible day. Let me explain what happened:
My mom tells me she's going to be in Brentwood during lunch hour, where I work, so she wanted to meet me for lunch. I cancel my plans to meet 10 other people off the TENNESSPEED website for lunch. My mom later calls, asks if I can go to lunch early (usually I can) but I wasn't able to, so I cancel with her and re-confirm I will meet the other 10 people for lunch.
We're supposed to meet for lunch at 1:00. It's only 1 mile from where I work, so I was going to take lunch from 1-2. Well, at 12:40 the Financial Manager comes to me and says, "We need this in the bank before 2:00, and take this to the post office for us." So, at 12:40 I have to drop off deposits at THREE banks, and take something to the post office, bring it back to the office, and meet people for lunch at 1:00. Ain't gonna happen.
I arrive at the Post Office. It's been raining ALL DAY, pouring most of the time. I go to pull into the parking spot, obviously oil had leaked or been spilled somehow, so I'm gently pulling in and start sliding... RIGHT INTO THE CURB. Front bumper isn't looking too good now, of course THE DAY BEFORE A CAR SHOW. Now I'm pissed... I'm on my way BACK to the office, it's now 1:10. This idiot in front of me decides he wants to make a left turn AS we're passing the turn, so he slams on his brakes, I slam on mine, I guess oil was still on my tires cuz guess what? I go sliding. Brakes lock up, and it seems as if I'm riding on slicks. I was able to pump the brake and stop, coming within inches of rear-ending this idiot.
I finally get back to the office, drop off the deposit receipts, and go out to lunch. I arrive at 1:15 and everybody is standing outside under the canopy (it's still pouring by the way) waiting for me to show up. Great... I'm late and everybody's waiting for me.
This day has been the worst day of the year so far. I can't believe everything that's going on. It's not over yet, so there's no telling what'll happen. Hopefully I won't suck up water into my intake since it's been pouring all day. Oh yeah, and I've got traffic court tomorrow. As well as this day has been going, I'm sure this ticket will end up on my insurance record. :-/ right before I turn 21 (I WAS hoping for a discount on my insurance when I turned 21... doubtful)

I'll be fixing it with a friend, and I still have half a gallon of paint left from when we painted my car. Shouldn't be too much money, but a lot of time
