Will 225/40/18 rub w/factory suspension?

I am looking for new wheels, and found a good deal on a wheel and tire package. My problem is, I want 18's but would like to salvage some of the ride quality. The wheel and tire package comes with 225/40/18 tires, and I can't find anyone who can tell me if that will fit on a 2000 with factory suspension.

Shannon (Red VS in KY) has 225/35/18 and rubs only in some places sometimes, but she's dropped on coilovers. Sonic has 225/40/18 I believe, but he's cheating... he's got fender flares. Does anybody know if I will rub with 225/40/18? I'm not dropped at all and don't ever plan on lowering springs.

I'd like to know this too. And what wheel offset people with 225s are using.
