Default I checked my car to see if it was A-Spec

I got my Magnecor wires today. They were delivered by..freaking UPS!!!

I paid $80 for them and $12 shipping. UPS charges me $55 CAD ($40 US) for customs and brokerage fees.. wow.. I was pissed before for paying $40 CAD for things that cost triple the price. UPS are bunch thieves.. I used to work for Customs and there is no way it should cost so much..

I should move to the states. You guys have it so much easier.

Thank god for credit cards.. I don't think I would've paid for it if I didn't have one.. but I will be pissed again in a month when I have to pay my bill.

Anyone else in Canada get screwed by UPS? I never have problems with regular mail just UPS and Fedex.

How close are you to the border? Also, you ever think about buying stuff for your freinds in the US, and then having them send you a "Gift". Wouldn't that help lower the import cost?

Good lord man, that's rediculous.

Kspec ships stuff "Gift" to Canada, so you'll have nothing to worry about when you get your gauges.

Dude, we are your friends. Any of us would do it for you.

...

No. We get the product, and ship it to you. Still cheaper than what you paid.

I send all my overseas stuff as a "gift" and at vastly under reported prices too.

I have the same problem with UPS, a 3rd party ussualy deliver to my house NB Canada and I have to pay about $50 too sometime at my door. It's ok with Fedex and snail mail just with UPS because it goes through a 3rd party.
