So I need a new headlight, right? Just normal maint. I go to the store, looking at the headlights...note the price on several at $3-5. I think, "oh good, they arn't that expensive." I find the one for my Tib, don't look at the price and am shocked when the checkout guy says "$16".

Why the f*** is the headlight for our cars $16?! Dammit, this is what I'm talking about when I b**** about parts and costs for Tiburons. I mean, what the f***? It's a lightbulb, like all the other lightbulbs that were there. It wasn't a particularly special style mount or weird shaped bulb. Why $16?

Son of a b****!

that's exactly why I was upset. It's just a regular H7 bulb. I guess I'm lucky though, since I hear some people blow headlights 3 or 4 times/year. This is only the 2nd in 4 years for me....wait...3rd. 2nd drivers low, I did replace the passenger low once too. Not replaced a high beam yet.

heh.... makes me glad I have an RD1... five years and 103,000 miles.. still on ALL original bulbs in my car... except for the third brake light, I changed that to LEDs.

I did notice yesterday that my front turnsignal lamps are peeling though. The amber coating is half gone.. might be time for silverstars

Yeah, you too eh?
The OEM 9006's and 9005's have lasted. I've only changed them out for the "white" rice lights, and I have gone through a few sets of those.

I've changed like 2 brake bulbs, and both my fogs. Which I also switched out for the rice ones, but have burnt those off and have gone back to OEM, normal H3's

kayjai, its not h7 for both highs and lows. its h1 for the highs, and h7 for the lows. h3 are the fogs.
