Default new pads / soft pedal

Are ceramic pads that give off ultra low dust supposed to be softer and thus require more pedal effort (pressed down closer to the floor) to work (even when bedded in)

I just installed new posi quiet pads about 5 days ago and though they are quiet, it seems like they require a lot more effort than say the hawk HPS to stop. I did bed them in.

The system was bled only a few weeks ago, was I supposed to bleed it again with new installation of pads?

dont need to bleed brakes each time you do a brake job..unless you did something wierd like open the system at all (ie pulled the brake lines off)

BUT in this case id rebleed them and check the rear for adjustment
