Default Front strut bar

So I replaced my rear mount since it was worn, has been for a long time, since b4 I put on my strut bar. now there is very little gap between my throttle body and my bar. when I downshift the 2 bastards vibrate against eachother. I have the width of a penny for space between the 2. My thought is 2 put washers under the bar were it mounts to the strut to lift it a bit. ? is will this cause any issues as far a not being as stable? i dont see why it would but im not an expert, thats why im here. gimme some input. Oh yea, I have a beta 2 motor in there, thats why there so close.

As long as you can still get the strut mount nuts to be fully threaded onto the studs I don't think it will cause any problems. If it's possible modifying your bracket at the ends of the strut brace might be a better option though.
