Default back bottoms out

i have noticed that my car is to bouncy with the oem suspension. if i have more then one person in the back seat if i go over a bump my car will bottom out in the back. is there any suspension mods to prevent this and make the ride stiffer. i hope the answer isn't coil overs because first they are really expensive and two i don't have the equipment to put them in my self so i will need to have someone else put them in for me and that will be way to much. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe switch to GT/GSi suspension, I've never once bottomed out the rear of my Accent even with a big sub box and a car load of people.

No GT model for the LC, although I'm pretty sure in Canada they did have the GSi which is the same thing.

Yes LC2 suspension bolts right in. There are no differences suspension wise between the LC and LC2.

You could get GT springs from a wrecking yard probably, http://www.allhyundaiisuzuparts.com/ would probably be able to help you out if you can't find them locally. Struts you could buy new from Hyundai or go with the KYB GR-2 struts for the "sport package" for a better setup.

Those should work, and that's a great price, but I think that the:

Front:
W0133-1615967
W0133-1615785

Rear:
W0133-1616505
W0133-1616359

Are updated products that might be a bit stiffer. I think you would do okay with the ones in the auction though.

Well, I am not sure, but I'm betting that it'll still work with at the most minor modifications. The other struts are known to work for sure though, so it's a tough choice.
