who are the phpbb gurus here?
How many people were involved in the setup of this site? Just one? How many of the moderators are really techy when it comes to phpbb?
Reason being is i just set up a new website: newspectra.com. Its completely bone stock right now, as i work on some of the graphics. However, i suck at phpbb. Im looking for someone to pay perhaps to set up the site completely, and then perhaps admin it every now and then. Id either pay the person, or get you parts from evo fusion, or other korean companies....
Just throwing this out there....email me: bradley@evofusionusa.com

Before you get phpBB, I recommend looking at the following:
phpBB2 Plus
phpBB FetchAll
phpBB plus is very nice, has a portal and comes with many mods already pre-installed. VERY easy to work with. You Dl this and it installs everything (phpbb 2.0.10 and all mods)
FetchAll is nice too, very customizeable, but takes more knowledge of php. It is more for costum work, but is very effective. FetchAll is something you install AFTER installing regular phpBB.
I'd recommend staying away from phpNuke and postNuke, as some say they have alot of security issues and can be bloated (phpBB2 Plus could be considered bloated too, but it is secure, and any mods can be removed).
FetchAll will blend nicely with any phpBB theme, but phpBB2 Plus uses different themes than regular phpBB.

Dang. I just realized i installed phpnuke on my server. well, i dont have many posts on there yet, you think its best to start over again?
Thsee are the options i have, where it automatically has everything, and you just click to install:
http://www.ehostpros.com/hosting/fantastico.html
Should we delete what i installed, and go with phpbb2?
Isnt this site php nuke?
