I know they've been done before, so maybe we should think of a unique, different type of way to set it up.

Maybe have a forum for listing upcoming car shows and their location?
Maybe another for meets? We don't really have to put them into regional categories, maybe just have one for Car Shows, another for Group Meets?

 

Very good idea. I didn't want to imitate the other boards by having regions, but the shows and meets idea is great.
